Benzophenone is mainly used in free radical UV curing varnish systems, such as UV wood paint, UV paper varnish, UV coatings, UV inks, UV adhesives, etc. Benzophenone is mainly used in the pharmaceutical industry to produce dicyclohexidine, benzotropine hydrobromide, diphenhydramine hydrochloride, etc. It is also a styrene polymerization inhibitor. Benzophenone is used as a fragrance fixer to impart sweetness to spices. It is widely used in perfume and soap flavors, and can be used to formulate almond, peach, butter, coconut and other edible flavors. The recommended dosage in the final flavored food is 0.5~2.4mg/kg. Benzophenone can be used in sunscreen oils/creams in the cosmetics industry. At present, almost all sunscreen products on the market contain benzophenone compounds. Benzophenone compounds can protect the skin from harm and are often used to produce high-quality products. In recent years, the consumption of benzophenone in cosmetics has been increasing continuously. Recent studies believe that fluorescence is also a harmful ultraviolet light source, so the application range of benzophenone in the cosmetics field is expanding, and it has been extended to hair conditioners, lotions and lipsticks. Properly recommended dosage: 2-5%. 119-61-9 - Risk and Safety Hazard Symbols Xi - Irritant N - Dangerous for the environment Dangerous for the environment Risk Codes R36/37/38 - Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin.
