Tetraethylene Glycol Monomethyl Ether, also known as m-PEG4-Alcohol (CAS: 23783-42-8), m-PEG4-Alcohol linker contains a hydroxyl group. The hydroxyl group can be derivatized to other reactive functional group for conjugation and surface modification purposes. The mPEG modification drastically increases the aqueous solubility of the resulting compound. The hydroxyl group enables further derivatization or replacement with other reactive functional groups. Applicated in medical research, drug-release, nanotechnology and new materials research, cell culture. In the study of ligand, polypeptide synthesis support, a graft polymer compounds, new materials, and polyethylene glycol-modified functional coatings and other aspects of the active compound. m-PEG4-Alcohol is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs. m-PEG4-Alcohol can be used in the synthesis of various chemicla compounds. It is also a monofunctional PEG that can be used in polymer science.
