Isobutylparaben is a paraben preservative used in cream, cream, honey, shampoo and other personal care products, cleaning products and medicines corrosion. Isobutylparaben is often used as a preservative and anti-fungal agent to prevent molding and to provide a much longer shelf life to chips, jams, jellies.
